Nature Acupuncture & Herbs

Cosmetic Acupuncture

The natural alternative to injectables — constitutional facial renewal through targeted micro-needling and systemic balancing.

Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic acupuncture works by stimulating collagen production, improving facial muscle tone, and increasing circulation to the face. Unlike Botox or fillers, cosmetic acupuncture addresses both the face and the underlying constitutional imbalances that contribute to premature aging.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is cosmetic acupuncture different from Botox?
Botox paralyzes facial muscles to reduce the appearance of lines. Cosmetic acupuncture stimulates collagen production, improves circulation to the face, and tones underlying musculature. Results are more gradual but also address the systemic conditions that contribute to skin aging. There is no paralysis, no foreign substance injected.
How many sessions do I need to see results?
Most patients notice visible changes in skin tone and texture after 5-7 sessions. A standard initial course is 10-12 sessions over 5-6 weeks. After the initial course, monthly maintenance visits extend the results. Individual response varies based on age, skin type, and lifestyle.
Does cosmetic acupuncture hurt?
Cosmetic acupuncture uses very fine-gauge needles designed for facial tissue. Most patients describe the sensation as mild and significantly less uncomfortable than injectable treatments. Some areas, such as around the eyes, are more sensitive than others.
Is cosmetic acupuncture covered by insurance?
No. Cosmetic acupuncture is an elective aesthetic treatment and is not covered by insurance. Our front desk can provide a detailed fee schedule before your appointment.
